The Blacktail is the real thing...true Montana. I came upon the Blacktail by chance, through my friend and outfitter. That was 10 years ago.  Now I can't imagine not spending time there each year... spring, summer, fall all have their uniqueness.  The natural beauty and wildness of the ranch are impossible to miss, but I have also come to appreciate and respect the honest and hard working people involved with the ranch and their concern for the land.  I hope to be visiting for a very long time.

8,000 Acres ready to be ridden! A mountain bikers paradise the Blacktail boasts 25 miles of trails plus old logging roads, cow, elk and horse paths waiting to be experienced. From the novice to the experienced rider in search of steep slopes, Blacktail has a challenge for you. All day riders will be provided with any meals that they need out on the trail, a first aid kit, compass and maps. We can facilitate overnight camping for those who want to stay out on the trails for several days. We encourage groups of 10 or more to experience the Blacktail for their next mountain biking adventure program.

Groups of 10 or more will have access to the 8, 000 acre ranch, accommodations, 3 meals a day plus snacks,
The Hogan, Tee Pee, and transportation to trails on the ranch if necessary.

Transportation to and from the Great Falls International Airport is $40.00 per trip/per person one way.
The Blacktail van holds up to 14 persons per trip.
(Roundtrip cost is $75.00 per person)
